Nineteen thirty-two, Crittall windows, and a concert room with a stage at one end and a twelve-metre servery down the side. Built by people who worked shifts and wanted somewhere to go afterwards that was theirs.
The stage still gets used. The servery is longer than the bar at the Slag & Slurry, which tells you what the membership used to be.
