Eighty metres by sixty of yard, sheds and vehicle doors, and the place every shift on the fly-tip round starts and ends. The phone goes at six, Wozza picks you up in the liveried flatbed, and the morning is cab, load, cab, load.
Wozza has a hundred and twenty things to say over the course of a shift and starts out thinking very little of you. That can change, slowly, if you do the work.
Two pounds twenty-five an item, eight pounds a site, and the incinerator at the end of it.
