The animals of Oakhaven

170 British species: the animals you could really meet in and around a Midlands town, from the pigeons on the terraces to the fallow deer of Cannock Chase.

The list was drawn up from the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, Butterfly Conservation's Big Butterfly Count, the Mammal Society's review of British mammal populations and the Midlands wildlife trusts, weighted to what you would actually see in the Midlands. Each animal is built to look and behave like the real one, researched species by species. See Birds of Oakhaven for how that works.
